PAUL SELIGSON

Paul Seligson has been ‘TEFLing’ worldwide for 37 years and is well-known for lively, highly practical training. A CELTA assessor and Trinity moderator, his many publications include English File, Helping Students to Speak, Essential English 1-5, Kids’ Web 1-5 and his latest publication English ID, a 6-level course from Richmond in British and American English, the first specifically written for Romance Language background learners. RUSSELL STANNARD

 

Russell Stannard is a NILE associate trainer and a founder of www.teachertrainingvideos.com. His website provides free videos that help teachers learn about ICT in language teaching and is visited by 300,000 users each year. Russell has been awarded the British Council “ELTons Technology” award and the Times Higher “Outstanding Technology Initiative” award. He writes regular columns in the ET professional and the teacher trainer. His work in feedback generated widespread media coverage and has been researched all over the world.

Mª ESTHER RODRÍGUEZ

 

Maria Esther Rodríguez Gil has been teaching for more than 12 years in primary, secondary and University levels, and is currently working for Colegio Arenas Sur. She holds a PhD in English language from the ULPGC, an MLitt in Historical Linguistics from Newcastle University, as well as an MA in TEFL from the ULPGC. María Esther has done research on native vs non-native teachers of English, educational blogs, and assessing with rubrics. Lately, she is focusing on cooperative learning and new technologies, which she tries to combine to enhance the learning experience in the classroom.
